It was Monday morning and I was on a call with a dozen others who are my peers. Each of us helps the small business owner with their businesses in one way or the other. It was at the end of the call and we were each sharing our websites and going over how to make little improvements here and there. Time was running out and there was just enough time for one more website review, I volunteered. As my site was coming up for all to see suddenly the screen turned a maroon red with an outline of a security officer with his hand stretched out and the words of"do not precede malware danger." There was more but I was horrified to remember exactly what it said. I was concerned on being destroyed plus humiliated that the people on the telephone had seen me vulnerable, I had spent hours.
I back my blogs regularly using a free plugin WP DB Backup up. I will restore my blog to the settings if anything happens. I use my site to be scanned by WP Security Scan plugin that is free regularly and asks that are suspicious-looking to be blocked by WordPress Firewall to fix malware problem.
Backup plug-ins is also important. You want to backup database and all the files you can bring your site back like nothing.
Fortunately, keeping your WordPress site up-to-date is one of the simplest things you can do. For the last few versions, the ability to install automatic updates has been included by WordPress. A new update becomes available.
Now it's time to register for a Facebook accounts and use identity to pose as your friend and this person's their website name. After I get it all set up, I'll be telling you posing as your friend and asking you to be friends with me on Facebook (or Twitter, or whichever social special info site).
